This photo below is taken from the Hastings Opera House taken from under the stage. It is a portal, so these are still there to this day.
I find these interesting as when these orbs are blown up, they tend to have images of people's faces, some even wear glasses. I can see one in this image without blowing it up, a lady on the blue felt wall, just above the set of white edged draws, looks like she's just stepped out of a hair salon.
